Susan Taylor has written poetry since her teenage years in the sixties. Her main influences then were both Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath. Originally a farmer, she went on to run Totleigh Barton Centre for Creative Writing in Devon in the early eighties. She has published seven collection of poetry and a number of pamphlets. Her most recent collection, Temporal Bones, was released in July 2016 by Oversteps.
